ONVO has officially opened pre-sales for the L80 on April 28, 2026. The world’s first intelligent dual-cabin five-seat flagship SUV starts from 245,800 yuan with battery included, or from 159,800 yuan under NIO’s BaaS battery rental program. Official launch is May 15, 2026.
What makes the L80 different:
The L80 introduces the dual-cabin concept — a 240L intelligent electric front trunk (the largest frunk in China) paired with a 1,200L rear boot that expands to 2,600L with seats folded. It’s the largest cargo space of any five-seat SUV currently on sale in China.
At 5,145mm long on a 3,110mm wheelbase, it rides on a 900V architecture and weighs just 2,250kg — around 300kg lighter than competitors in the segment.
Smart tech options include NIO’s SkyOS operating system as standard, with an optional upgrade to the Shenji NX9031 — the world’s first 5nm automotive AI chip, shared with the NIO ET9 and ES9.
Safety is inherited directly from the ONVO L90, which holds five-star ratings from all three of China’s major crash test authorities. All trims come with 9 airbags as standard.
